PCSX2

PCSX2 is a Playstation 2 emulator that aims to enable fans of videogame play it on your computer. However, in order to use it is necessary to take the file from your computer's firmware videogame.

As the firmware is what identifies the videogame console and each comes with its own firmware, a user can only have in your computer the firmware on the console of your property. Keep others console firmware on your computer piracy is a crime with punishment under the law.

Now let's configure GSDX.
It has two modes: GSdx9 and GSDX10. GSdx9 is, as the name suggests, based on DirectX9. It is suitable for use in Windows XP. The GSDX10 is based on DirectX 10, it is best to use Windows Vista and Windows 2008. Choose referring to your system and click Configure.

GSdx9
If you use Windows XP or use Vista and your video card is DirectX 9, the plugin is being used GSdx9. To do this, open the plugin configuration graph, and Renderer, select Direct3D9 (Hardware).

GSDX10
If you use Windows Vista and DirectX10 video card or 10.1, there is one more different way, based on DirectX 10. It requires more work to VGA, and decreases the bottleneck from the processor. The result is increased performance and better image quality. To activate this mode, open the plugin configuration chart in Renderer choice Direct3D10 (Hardware):

Choose the version of DirectX to be used

In both you can change the texture filtering mode. Marked completely GSDX will mean that the maximum texture filtering. Produces noticeably better quality images, but requires a reasonable VGA that does not limit performance. Marked partially (gray) is the middle ground, ideal for onboard VGA's, as the GMA 3100. Not being marked, PCSX2 will run out of texture filtering, which will greatly degrade image quality. Generally not a good option not to use this function.

Anti-aliasing in GSDX:
One very important detail about the GSDX is that it lets you put custom resolutions. This helps you gain speed or quality. In D3D Internal res you put the desired resolution, as in the screenshot:

In the configuration that I made available, the internal resolution is 1024x1024, but you can use higher resolutions or lower, depending on the performance and quality you want. If it becomes too slow, check the "Native", which will use the default resolution, which is faster (but with lower quality).

Plugins configured, go to the last configuration step: Configuring PCSX2!

The PCSX2 have some options and practices to activate.

Memory Cards

Memory Cards are the traditional. The PCSX2 emulates them, so you can play and save your game as if on a PS2 smoothly.
To configure them, go to Settings>> Memory Cards.
In part of the memory card, click Select Mcd, open the folder memcards (it's quite possible that it already open) and select the file mcd001.ps2. Do the same with the memory card 2, only select the mcd002.ps2. Click Format in both Mcd to format the "memory cards", and ready.

The Speed will Hacks configured correctly for most games and does not need configuration.

The PCSX2 reads games from ISO images. I recommend CDBurnXP Pro to record the games in ISO. Burn the DVD ISO, PCSX2 open, click File> Run CD / DVD, open the ISO image and voila! Play!

Sure, some games will not run, after all, the PS2 emulation is not Perfect but several games already run well, including the new titles.
